Ruth Caldwell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Berkeley.  She works for the Santa Barbara County Chapter of the American Red Cross (ARC).  She worked at Westmont College for 30 years; Santa Barbara City College for 15 years and has worked for over 65 years with ARC.  Ruth has also been a World War II Volunteer, ARC.  Her interest in water safety led to lifetime activity; she is a water safety instructor, instructor trainer, and Chair of the department.
