Joslyn Gray is the owner of JP Monkey, a reusable shopping bag company, and has a mission to get everyone re-using and reduce waste. Having spent two years of high school in England where reusable shopping bags were a part of daily life, she continued using her own bags upon return to the United States.

As a commercial interior designer and sustainability advocate, Joslyn considered good looking and durable shopping bags a necessity and made her first re-usable shopping bags over 15 years ago. Grocery store checkers and shoppers gave her strange looks back then, but as the interest in sustainable living has grown over the last few years, they started to ask where she got such gorgeous bags. After so many inquiries, she decided to make her bags available to people who care about the environment and design, and focus her energy on getting more people to re-use.

Joslyn is also accredited by the US Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Green Building. Having lived all over the world, Joslyn now considers Santa Barbara home.
